We’re excited to be celebrating our 3 Year Anniversary. It’s hard to believe that it’s been three long years. We published our very first post on December 3, 2013 titled “Akamai Expands Security Portfolio”. In three years time, we’ve published over 1,100 articles, interviewed 100+ “C” Levels, written dozens of research reports and consulted with dozens of companies. Here are the key takeaways we’ve learned about startups in their journey for success:
- Money, degrees and smarts doesn’t equal success, since everyone in the industry is smart and has money. Imagination and an open mind are the most important traits
- About 1 in 20 startups in the infrastructure industry have a true game changing idea
- Experience and head knowledge can be your worse enemy, because it’s hard to teach a dog new tricks
