Palo Alto Networks appoints new VP for APAC

Palo Alto Networks recently released their appointment of a new Vice President for the Asia Pacific region. Steve Redman joins the Palo Alto team with an extensive background in the cyber security ecosystem. Previously, Redman spent two years as the President of Worldwide Sales at McAfee bringing in nearly $3 billion in bookings and prior to was the President of the Asia Pacific region for four years. Redman experienced a great success with McAfee in this area of the world, leading the APAC team with several record growth quarters.

As Vice President, it will be up to Steve Redman to guide the overall business strategy, spike revenue, and expand growth for Palo Alto in the APAC marketplace. Mark Anderson, Senior Vice President of Worldwide Field Operations for the company states that he is excited to welcome Steve to the team and that “his leadership experience and success in the cyber security space adds tremendous value to our organization.” Redman responded with equal enthusiasm, and believes that there is “tremendous potential to continue increasing the enterprise security market share” not only worldwide, but specifically in the APAC region.

Palo Alto expects a year of incredible growth, with their new enterprise security platform tailored to a multitude of countries globally. The team at Bizety is looking forward to seeing what the cyber security giant has in store for the new year.
